She / Her / Hers
Community is a bond with a group of people you relate to and many times becomes your family. Having a community you can rely on and supports you makes a difference. Mother Theresa once said, there is one thing worst that poverty, hunger, and diseases…it’s the feeling of not feeling loved. Feeling of belonging to a community is good for the soul, you’ll never have to feel alone. You are never alone.
It is not an easy road to go through alone, if you are unable to be your authentic self.. DO KNOW that THERE ARE others out there who are going through the same thing. Find YOUR COMMUNITY. There are so many outlets, resources, and support out there….but first thing’s first, BE BRAVE and take the chance utilizing all the amazing resources available. Find positive outlets.
My heart breaks to hear someone is being bullied or has been bullied. All I know from my own personal experience from being bullied, it’s easy to play victim and be defensive. But I realized that doesn’t do anyone any good. Reach out to your community (friends & family) and talk it out. DIG, DIG, DIG DEEP and be the better person. Try to remember that it’s their own insecurities, not yours. If you are being bullied, BE BRAVE…and say this “I am me, I am enough, I am at peace, and I wish YOU peace” and walk away.
